​As every company is different our retained service has been kept simple. We provide a certificate of membership, access to our document database,
quarterly newsletters and industry updates as well as telephone and email support through a dedicated account manager.
H&S Membership
All our membership levels ensure you meet your legal obligation to have ‘access to competent advice’, as required by Regulation 7 of the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999.

The following services can be included in your retainer or picked up as ad-hoc requirements:
- Tailored Health and Safety Audits

- Risk Assessment and Method Statement (RAMS) Preparation
- We offer support with preparing and reviewing Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) to ensure they meet industry standards, helping companies reduce liabilities and streamline safety procedures.
- Accident Investigation and Reporting

- Accreditation and Certification Support

- Health and Safety KPI Tracking and Reporting
- We have helped may companies develop their own health and safety performance metrics along with tools such as dashboards or regular reports identifying key metrics important to you like incident rates, near-misses, and compliance status. Janki Vara
Health and Safety / CDM Consultant

Janki Joined the team in October 2024 as a Health and Safety CDM Consultant, bringing three years of architectural experience with a focus on mixed-use residential and commercial high-rise projects in London, where she specialised in technical packages.
Janki holds a BA (Hons) and a MArch in Architecture, with a Postgraduate Diploma (PD Dip) expected in February 2025. Janki is guided by the values of collaboration, integrity, innovation, empathy, and adaptability.
Committed to continuous growth, Janki aims to complete her NEBOSH Certification and is committed to building a lasting professional relationship in the construction industry.
Andy Shutt
HEALTH & SAFETY DIRECTOR

Andy joined the Group in January 2023 as a Director of Costplan Safety Services Limited. Possessing more than 15 years’ experience within the construction industry, Andy has been involved in ensuring the safe delivery of large-scale civil engineering projects, working with main contractors within defence, pharmaceutical, healthcare, education, civils and refurbishment.
A chartered member of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health, Andy has assisted with the development and commencement of the OH&S culture improvement strategies for large organisations, as well as successfully implementing behavioural safety programs onto some of the largest construction projects in the UK.
Andy is dedicated to the continued growth of Costplan Safety, bringing value to our clients while fostering a positive workplace atmosphere for all colleagues.
Robert (Jamie) Walker
Health and Safety / CDM Consultant

Jamie has been Involved in a vast range of projects, including high-rise hotels, shopping centres, education facilities for universities, hospitals, stadium construction (for 2018 Commonwealth Games, where Jamie was the Lead Safety Advisor) and facilities construction in the mining sector including overland conveyors, train-loadout facilities and existing plant shutdown maintenance.
Respect, Honesty, Communication and Accountability are Jamie’s personal values and his goal is to develop as a Safety Professional whilst building relationships with clients. Finding the best use of my knowledge and skills to build a career in the UK.
Matt Lee
HEALTH AND SAFETY DIRECTOR

Matt joined Costplan Group in January 2023 as a Health and Safety Director to assist in the development, management and growth of the UK office.
Matt has over 15 years of experience in the Construction industry. He specialises in CDM 2015 and as a Principal Designer/ CDM Advisor has been delivering an expert service to several high-profile clients seeking to develop and build many of the signature buildings and infrastructure in London and all over the United Kingdom.
He has provided CDM services on major demolition projects, new high-rise developments and refurbishments, as well as high-profile schemes such as the enabling works, landscaping and infrastructure packages for the London 2012 Olympic Park.
On all his projects, Matt acts as a key advisor to the client on health and safety matters and specialises in design risk management, CDM design risk workshops and assisting designers in reducing risks during the design stage.
Matt has previously held a senior leadership position at a global construction consultancy and was responsible for business development and growth of the London team. He has experience of leading a CDM team, developing key accounts and building lasting relationships
